Refunds and cancellation

How to stop paying, what happens to the month you are in, and when we give money back.

Last updated 9 September 2026

Try it before you pay

Every account starts with a free trial. No card is taken to start it, so nobody pays for RankMapp without having used it first. That is deliberate — it is a better answer than a refund policy.

Cancelling

Open Billing in your dashboard and press Cancel subscription. It takes effect immediately in the sense that you will not be charged again. You keep your plan until the end of the month you have already paid for, then the account falls back to trial limits.

Nothing is deleted when you cancel. Your keywords, scan history and reports stay exactly where they are. Subscribe again and they all come back.

Refunds

  • Charged by mistake — a duplicate charge, or a charge after you cancelled: refunded in full, always. Tell us and we will fix it without an argument.
  • Within 7 days of your first paid charge — if RankMapp is not what you expected, email us and we will refund that charge in full.
  • Part-used months — not refunded. Cancelling stops the next charge rather than pro-rating the current one, which is why the cancel button tells you the date your plan runs to.
  • A provider outage that stopped you scanning for most of a billing month — tell us and we will credit or refund that month. We would rather do that than have you find out we did not.

How long it takes

We start a refund within two working days of agreeing it. After that it is your bank's timetable — usually five to seven working days for a card, faster for UPI.

Failed payments

If a renewal fails, you do not lose your plan straight away. There is a grace period during which everything keeps working while your provider retries. Only after it runs out does the account drop to trial limits, and your data is never touched.
