Terms of service

The agreement between you and RankMapp. Short, because most of what a long one would say does not apply to a tool like this.

What the service is

RankMapp measures where a business appears in Google Maps results at each point on a grid around it, and gives you tools built on that measurement: keyword history, competitor discovery, a website scan, a citation list, an assistant and client reports.

What we promise

• Ranks are measured, not estimated. Every pin is a real search run at that coordinate. When a scan cannot run we tell you, rather than showing you a number we made up.
• Your data is yours. We do not sell it, and you can have it deleted at any time.
• We will not change your plan's price without telling you first. If we raise it, you stay on the price you agreed until you choose otherwise.

What we do not promise

• We cannot promise you will rank higher. RankMapp shows you where you stand and what is likely holding you back. What Google does with that is Google's business.
• Google changes its results constantly. Two scans minutes apart can differ, and that is the search engine, not a fault in the measurement.
• We depend on third parties for scan data, maps and payments. When one of them is down, the part of RankMapp that needs it is down.

Your side of it

• One account per business or agency. Do not share your login.
• Do not attempt to scrape, resell or resell access to the raw data.
• Only track businesses you own or have been engaged to work on.
• Give us a real email address. It is the only way we can reach you about your account.

Plans and limits

Every plan has limits — keywords, grid size, scans per week, assistant questions. They are listed on the pricing page and enforced by the software. We may adjust the limits included in a plan; if a change would reduce what you already have, you keep what you had.

Suspension

We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service, to abuse a third-party provider we pay for, or in a way that breaks the law. We will email you first unless doing so would make the problem worse.

Ending it

Cancel whenever you like from the billing screen. See the refunds and cancellation policy for what happens to the month you have already paid for.

Liability

RankMapp is a measurement tool. Decisions you make using it are yours. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
